Kibu for iOS: Coming Soon

We're building a native iOS app — and it's the way Kibu was always meant to be experienced.

The companion experience is personal, intimate, and always-available. Those are qualities that your phone delivers better than any other platform. The phone is where emotional AI companions belong.

What to Expect

The iOS app brings everything from the web — 9 characters, emotional memory, personality-driven conversation — and adds what only native can deliver:

• Animated companions — smooth 60fps character animations powered by Lottie, with per-character motion personality
• Voice interaction — talk naturally to your Kibu instead of typing (coming post-launch)
• Push check-ins — your Kibu can reach out when it senses you might need it
• Haptic feedback — feel your Kibu's mood through subtle tactile responses
• Offline presence — character mood and personality cached locally, so your Kibu is always there

Built with SwiftUI

We're building with SwiftUI targeting iOS 17+. The app uses the Swift Observation framework for state management, Lottie for animation playback, and communicates with the same backend that powers the web experience — so your conversations and memories carry over.

Pricing

Kibu will be free to download and use. If you want an ad-free experience, a one-time purchase of $4.99 removes ads permanently. No subscriptions. No paywalls on core features.

When?

We're targeting an App Store launch in the coming weeks. The app is in active development and we're polishing the onboarding experience and animation system right now.
