by using kibu ("the service"), you agree to these terms. if you don't agree, please don't use the service.

the service

kibu provides AI-powered companion characters for emotional support and conversation. kibus are not human. they are not licensed therapists, counselors, or medical professionals. the service is not a substitute for professional mental health care.

your account

you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. you must be at least 13 years old to use kibu. if you are under 18, you should have parental consent.

acceptable use

you agree not to:

• use the service to harm, harass, or exploit others
• attempt to extract or reverse-engineer our AI systems
• use the service for any illegal purpose
• misrepresent kibu responses as human-generated content

content

you retain ownership of the content you create. by using the service, you grant kibu a license to process your messages for the purpose of providing the companion experience.

limitation of liability

kibu is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to emotional distress, reliance on AI-generated content, or service interruptions.

changes

we may update these terms from time to time. continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
